L'histoire
“EP1” is the opening salvo of an ambitious trilogy with which the power duo breaks into the alternative rock scene. Boasting a massive sonic landscape that evokes the raw power of Royal Blood, the band proves they only need a hyper-saturated bassline and relentless drums to build a devastating wall of distortion. Across its six tracks, the record injects modern rock with the urgency and grit of bands like Turnstile, shining a spotlight on a magnetic, wide-ranging vocal delivery that seamlessly shifts from polished melodies to raw, gritty explosions. Lyrically, “EP1” is a biting, visceral reflection of modern-day alienation, led by the commercial hook of “Procrastination” and the urban darkness of “Plastic Hearts.” A burst of pure adrenaline crafted to bite from the very first second.
"Hello Mondosonic team, We’re Charming Putos, an independent alternative rock duo from Vigo, Galicia, Spain. We’d love to submit our debut EP, EP-1, for consideration on your alternative rock channel. Our music combines grunge, punk, melodic hardcore and heavy alternative rock. We’re just bass, vocals and drums, but we build a much bigger sound by splitting the bass into clean low frequencies and a distorted upper layer. Everything is played live, with no guitars, backing tracks or loops. EP-1 was released on October 9, 2026, and was recorded, mixed and mastered independently at our own studio.
